


Yacht Station Pull's ferry was last in operation in the 1940's as a short cut across the Wensum.
We have a small INFORMATION CENTRE in the guest house with many leaflets and maps. We take time to ensure that you will want to return to Edmar Lodge and our lovely city again. Guests from around the world remember us and return and have been doing so for over 25 years.


900 year old Norman Castle and Museum
Several buildings in Elm Hill were originally home to Weavers who worked at their homes in the attic lit by dormer windows.


Places to visit include the famous Coleman's Mustard Shop, the specialists shops around Elm Hill, riverside walks by the River Wensum and the Norman Cathedral. Over many years people from Eastern England have known Norwich to be one of the best shopping destinations. It is now in the top ten in England for shopping.


Why not take a trip along the rivers Wensum and Yare which meander through the city?. There are a variety of trips available including special arrangemants for parties (operators City Boats). Not far away are the Norfolk Broads where you can hire boats for the day or by the week and be your own captain. Norfolk has and abundance of interesting properties to visit, including some owned by the National Trust. Do not forget the Queen's country residence at Sandringham. For nature lovers there are many wild life reserves for Animals, Seals and Birds.
